Generally handling faxes can be boring as the user may need to wait for the fax to arrive and manually take care of it, to either store it or print it. StupidFaxView is a suite of applications that comes with various automated functionalities and utility features. The application works with TAPI Fax modems for automatically printing and saving of incoming fax calls.
Using the application, the user can automatically route and print the incoming faxes to the windows default printer. All incoming calls are logged with status, time, date and other relevant information. The user can also reprint historical faxes whenever needed, and basically the program was supposedly created to help users who just need a simple, reliable program to receive faxes.
What’s more, the program comes with additional features like automatic file conversion, execution of a system command on fax receipt, BMP, PCX, TIFF, DCF format conversion, answering after a pre-defined number of rings, viewing a fax on-screen and that’s not the end of the story. All configuration parameters as well as Main Status Log can be saved, the AutoPrint may be turned off, and it also supports an option of automatic receive on startup.
